AutoMCC 2.10 is Ready
At MCVHost, we continue working to provide the most robust tools on the market without sacrificing the simplicity that defines us. Today, we are excited to announce Version 2.10 of our radio automation panel, autoMCC. This is a deep update that not only refreshes the platform's aesthetics and fluidity but also introduces automation and audio processing tools highly requested by our community.
Transparency and Performance: New Plan-Based Segmentation
Starting with version 2.10, you will notice that some new features are categorized according to the type of plan contracted (Lite, Personal, Pro, Max, and Ultra). We want to be completely transparent about the reason for this decision, which is being implemented for the first time on our platform.
Several of the new tools—such as audio analysis, real-time recording, and equalizer processing—require a much higher level of processing (CPU) and disk read/write operations within our servers. To ensure that all our users continue to enjoy a stable streaming service, without interruptions and with the highest audio quality, we have reserved these high-resource functions for specific plans. In this way, we ensure a fair distribution of our servers' power and keep the quality of service intact for the entire infrastructure.
Without further ado, here is the list of the most notable new features in this version, as well as the update schedule so you can enjoy these new functions as soon as possible.
Automatic Intros and Outros
(Intros: Personal plan and higher | Outros: Pro plan and higher)
We know that sound identity is vital for a radio station to sound professional. Therefore, we have developed an intelligent system to automate the opening and closing of your shows.
Operation is incredibly simple: just upload a file named intro.mp3 (or any compatible audio format) and another named outro.mp3 within your show's file directory. The system will visually detect these files in your manager and exclude them from the normal music rotation. Instead, it will reserve and play them automatically at the exact second your program starts and ends, giving your station a corporate-level automation touch.
10-Band Real-Time Equalizer
(Max plan and higher)
Take control over how your station sounds. We have integrated a visual equalization panel within the Output Settings section, where you can select presets (Rock, Pop, Jazz, etc.) or manually slide each of the 10 frequency bands to achieve the perfect audio color. The best part? Once the module is active, any adjustments you make to the bands will be applied instantly to the sound, without needing to restart your autoDJ service. Please note that while the bands update in real-time, enabling or disabling the equalizer module itself will require a service restart to apply the changes.
Automatic DJ Recording
(Pro plan and higher)
Ensure a backup of your live broadcasts without manual intervention. By activating this function from the output settings, the server will automatically begin recording the audio stream every time a DJ connects. These files will be saved directly to your autoDJ storage, neatly organized in a new folder called /recordings within your FTP server.
Audio Analysis and Smart Crossfade
(Pro plan and higher)
Say goodbye to silence gaps between songs. Our new engine analyzes the audio waveforms of your tracks to mathematically determine the exact point where the volume drops, executing a perfect crossfade (fading between tracks). From your home page, you will be able to see a progress bar indicating the status of your music library analysis.
A Refreshed Visual and Dynamic Experience
This version also brings a complete redesign of the user interface, designed to be faster, more accessible, and visually pleasing:
- Dynamic Architecture: Sections such as the listener list, "Now Playing," shows, and DJs now update in real-time. Information flows onto your screen without you having to refresh the page.
- Modern Design: We have moved away from flat views to adopt a card system with soft shadows and rounded corners. This creates a visual depth effect that clearly separates work areas, accompanied by new iconography that makes navigation much more intuitive.
- Visual Statistics: A completely new metrics panel. You will now see featured cards with KPIs (Total listeners, top countries, playback hours), bar and line charts to read trends at a glance, and a date selector to filter your data by hour, day, or month.
- Enhanced Content Management: You can now preview (listen to) songs directly from the song manager before scheduling them. Additionally, when reviewing a show, you can see the exact list of files in their broadcast order and check if a file-controlled show has already finished its cycle.
- Requests Widget 2.0 and New Formats: The web widget for your listeners debuts a responsive, modern design, free of past bugs (it will update automatically on your website). At the streaming level, we have added native support for AAC-LC, Opus, and HE-AACv2, guaranteeing the best compression and quality.
- Broadcasting Engine Update: We have updated the software that powers your radio's broadcast to a new version. This update should resolve issues such as the station occasionally going offline, making the transmission orders of magnitude more stable.
Update Schedule
To ensure that the transition and performance are optimal, the rollout of version 2.10 will be carried out gradually across our servers on the following dates:
- Panel 4 Server: Saturday, May 9, 2026.
- Panel 3 Server: Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Thank you for continuing to grow with us. This update is designed to make managing your radio easier, faster, and more professional than ever. If you have any questions or if an unexpected error arises during testing, don't forget that you can contact our support team through the contact methods available on this website.
