Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content hosted on MCVHost's servers infringes on your copyright, please send a written notice of claimed infringement to our designated agent:

Notice Requirements

In your written notice, please include the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on MCVHost's servers.
  4. Sufficient information to enable MCVHost to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Actions Taken by MCVHost

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, MCVHost will take the following actions:

  1. Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  2. Notify the account holder responsible for the content about the infringement claim.
  3. Provide the account holder with an opportunity to submit a counter-notification.

Counter-Notification

If the account holder believes the material was mistakenly removed or disabled, they may submit a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the account holder.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and its location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the account holder has a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. The account holder's name, address, telephone number, and a statement that they consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which the address is located.

Repeat Infringers

MCVHost may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
